| | | September 30, 2009 High Grade Silver Vein contains Palladium
|
| | Vancouver, B.C.: CMC Metals Ltd. (the "Company") is pleased to announce the preliminary test results from the detailed high grade vein surface sampling in the TM pit at the Silver Hart Mine site. In July surface trench sampling in preparation for pre-production, the Company defined new high grade vein. Further preliminary insitu assaying with the XRF Niton XLt3 proceeded every two meters to detail the variability of the vein assays. Multiple assays were conducted at each station location and averaged to provide an indicative value. Representative surface samples were collected and will be assayed at ACME Laboratories for a definitive assay. The following are the measured XRF Niton XLt3 assays at each 2 meter station over the vein strike length:

BDL-Below Detection Limit
A sampling and assay QA/QC program was instituted with daily calibrations, standards, and statistically significant number of samples measured. The nature of insitu sampling and the relative inherent instrument error of XRF Niton XLt3 assays should be considered for indicative purposes only and should not be relied upon until comparative lab assays are completed. Widths are horizontal sample widths. Insitu sample locations were based on a systematic sampling protocol and not random sampling.
Donald Wedman President and CEO of the Company commented that "This is the first occurrence of identifying Palladium at the TM zone. Further laboratory assays will determine if there is the presence of other precious metals that the XRF is unable to detect." Laboratory assays will be reported as soon as they are completed.
