Update on Drill Assay Results at Silver Hart

Vancouver, B.C.: CMC Metals Ltd. (the "Company") is pleased to announce the exploration assays from the infill drilling at the M zone and TM drilling to test continuation at deeper limits. A total of 1,928.7 meters were logged in 2009. Twenty-eight drill holes were completed to test new areas plus step-out and down dip depth drilling at the M and TM zones to determine continuation of the mineralized structure. Based on the current drilling, the Company has sufficient data to model the geological structure for the M zone and develop an initial resource estimate. Although the KL and M zone structures are substantially different than the high grade TM and S zones, the primary interest is for a potential blending feedstock at the proposed mill. The following are the highlights from the 2009 logged drill core:

ACME Analytical Laboratories Ltd. in Vancouver conducted sample preparation and analysis. Sample analysis was by 7AR and 7AR.1 digest, and analyzed by ICP-ES method. Over limit assays on silver results are by G6 fire assay and gravimetric finish. Standard samples and blanks were used for quality assurance and quality control for sample analysis. Widths are drill core intercept. Additional drilling is required to define dip and true width.
