CMC Announces Change in Board of Directors and Officers

Vancouver, BC.: CMC Metals Ltd. - (“the Company”) (TSX-V: CMB) wishes to announce that due to personal reasons, Michael C. Scholz has resigned his position as Director, Chairman and a senior officer of the Company, effective immediately.  The Company recognizes Mr. Scholz as an integral member of the Company’s Board since 2005 and the Board would like to thank him for his immeasurable contributions and wish him every success in his future endeavors.

With the resignation of Mr. Scholz, Director John Bossio has agreed to the appointment of Chairman of the Board of the Company, and Director and President, Kevin Brewer has agreed to the appointment of Chief Financial Officer.
